How do I get my team/individual into the IRONMAN tournaments?
The IRONMAN and Women of IRONMAN tournaments are invitational only. We do welcome requests from teams and individuals interested in consideration. Keep in mind this does not guarantee a spot in the tournament. If interested have a coach or AD fill out the "request for consideration" form found on the 2026 Ironman and Women of Ironman pages. We do fill up late May/early June so we recommend sending right after state tournaments. The cost for individual wrestlers is $150. A full team is $750.
Since this is an in-season tournament we do not accept requests from parents. All wrestlers must be entered through their high school coach or AD.
We are an NFHS sanctioned in-season tournament. This means all wrestlers MUST wrestle for/represent a NFHS sanctioned school. Unfortunately, we cannot accept unattached wrestlers.

When will the Ironman tournaments take place?
The IRONMAN and Women of IRONMAN tournament will always be held in December after the official start of Ohio's high school season. The 2026 tournament will be held the weekend of December 11th-13th.

What are the weight classes for the tournaments?
We follow Ohio's weight classes:
The boys weight classes are 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215, and 285.
The girls weight classes are 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 155, 170, 190, and 235.

​​Can my school bring more than one wrestler in the same weight class?
No. IRONMAN policy is only one wrestler per school for a weight class.

What happens if my wrestler does not make weight at weigh-ins?
If there is room in the weight class above they will be given the opportunity to wrestle in the above weight class but will be not be seeded in that bracket.

If my team/individual is in the tournament one year does that mean we are automatically invited the next year?
 No. Every year each team/individual will be reevaluated and ranked by our selection directors. 

How do I buy tickets?
All tickets MUST BE purchased online beginning in October.
All sales are final. Children 5 and under are free.

What food is allowed or available at the tournament?
Items such as power bars, water, crackers, etc are ok.  No crock pots, coolers, full meal set-ups. We do have a concession stand for you to be able to purchase meals.
